the tournament yesterday was action packed..
though there are teams that were trashed terribly,
our team avoid thrashing courtesy of saiful, the stand in keeper of the day..
first match, a 2-1 win..conceded by penalty. stupid rules.
second match was the best though we lost.
2-3 loss..but i saved tons of shots to keep the team from demoralizing..saved two penalties by risking his life for the team. :D
unfortunately i wanted to play outfield in the quarter finals..tat led to our 3-0 loss..shud have been the keeper but i wanted some action...stupid me
so the saves are easily forgotten...but who could 4get our first tournament win as the opening match? maybe our team shud stick together to make out team united.
alrite, now on to the next team report....
the underage formely known as MSK (due to a buyover of club ownership) had to put up a tough group B qualifying matches.
their first match was a 1-1 draw though they had much of the ball and scored first, the opposition equalised just in time to save their skins from humiliation.
their first match performance was good for a team that was made from scratch, led by HAZIQ. the only survivor of MSK, who rallied despite death threats made by external parties to make him back out
second match for the underage: it was a must win match for the underage, in order to have a life line for qualifying.
the match was a tight one..very entertaining as both sides attacked turn after turn...however, an ispirational HAZIQ led the team to a comfortable 2-0 win with two goals under his belt, making him the stop scorer of his team.
after long calculations, HAZIQ team for qualifying looks dim as two other teams have 2 wins and for HAZIQ'S team to qualify is another must win match.
they fight their favoured rivals whom they had hoped for a win so that they cud qualify..all they had to do was to avoid a loss..
the match started horribly as they conceded 2 goals within 5 mins..
but the team was determined and eqaulised in a frame of 3 mins...
everything was going well until the dying stages...
haziq teamates decided to have a substitution to bring in fresh legs, but it led to a confusion as the team were unaware that the match was still on, giving their rivals another goal,
their opponents finished them of,with 1 min to spare, ending the match 4-2, an entertaining one, i must say, as HAZIQ team made a comeback, from 2-0 down only to lose due to uncertainty.
bravo for team HAZIQ for giving us an entertaining football and the spirit of fighting
there were better teams, playing possesively and attacking decisively...
how abt we play possessive? we are not even a 3 star team..face it, we dun have alot of star players...
we MUST NOT continue pretending that we have a good attack..we need to pass back in order to attack..our team cant play solo. if we cant get thru..we must pass back. before attacking again
dun let friendships sour because of this..okay?
sometimes i get jealous of other guys get her attention...maybe im just impulsive? gals are soooooooo troublesome....wish i have no feelings
